What is the best and worst part of being a celebrity?

The best part is being able to touch people's lives through my music. The worst part is jealousy. People wanting to kill you because you are successful.

What do you do in your free time?

No free time.

What are you planning to do with your clothing line?

The clothing line is something that just popped up, it was not something that I planned on doing, so I am just taking that day by day.

What are your goals as an artist?

To put the whole state on the map. Being the first to make it big out of Mississippi, I just want to represent.

What motivates you?

God. To know the history of my state and to know what my people went through. Just to know that I can speak through the kids.

What would you like your fans to know about David Banner?

I really appreciate my fans, I love them all. They should know that whenever they hear David Banner, either on a beat or my own sh*t, it's going to be quality.

What is the best and worst part of being a celebrity?

The best is being loved by so many people; the worst is [lack of] privacy.

What do you do in your free time?

As little as possible. Just kick it with family, and eat good.

What are your goals as an artist?

To do sh*t people like. I just want the fans to continue to enjoy what I do.

What motivates you?

Love for creation.

Who is the greatest rapper of all time?

Muhammad Ali. He triggered something in the people during his time. Sh*it like, "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee"; that started it all.

What would you like your fans to know about Ice Cube?

I'm just like them, I'm no different than any of them.

What is the best and worst part of being a celebrity?

The best is that I get a lot of free sh*t, the worst, I can't go everywhere I want to go without being noticed.

What are your goals as an artist?

Help people through music, continue to make good music and stay out of trouble.

What motivates you?

Knowing that I am the youngest in the family, I can't be the weakest link. I got to take care of the family.

Who is the greatest rapper of all time?

I would say Tupac.

Who is your favorite rapper now?

Me. I know that I am underrated. A lot of cats can write, but not many can write and free-style. I can write and free-style.

Explain "chopped and screwed" music.

It was just something that we came up with so that you could hear and understand what the f*ck we were saying. When Bone came out rapping fast, many people could not understand what the f*ck they were saying. We just like the music slow, that's all.

What would you like your fans to know about Lil' Flip?

I got a new record coming out in January ("You Gotta Feel Me"). I got Banner, Cam'ron, G-Unit and a lot of other people on there. I got another underground album coming out next week. I got my own record label, Clover Records, it's going to have my new artist, Will-lean. Lean is that stuff that we sip on. To the bootleggers, if it is a mix tape bootleg, that is free promotion, but if it is an album, go to the store and buy that sh*t. Just continue to support me.
