The nine Democratic presidential candidates debated Sept. 9 on the Morgan State University campus in Baltimore. It was the first debate sponsored by the Congressional Black Caucus Institute, and it was televised nationally on the Fox News Channel from Morgan's Murphy Fine Arts Center.
